Tacoma coffee madness scouting trip
The first stop was not on the plan but I could have come back home after visiting it and the trip would have been already worth. Not only was it the best one, it was amazing in itself. Bluebeard just opened last April.
6th Avenue seems to combine my two interests: there is a vinyl record store close to each coffee shop. Walking from the East to the West:
Bluebeard (2201 6th Ave)

- Roaster: on site
- Atmosphere: warehouse
- Espresso: my favorite
Caffe Dei (2607 6th Ave)

- Roaster: Isput Creek in Tacoma
- Atmosphere: hippie
- Espresso: least favorite
Shakabrah (2618 6th Ave)

- Roaster: Valhalla (according to Sprudge)
- Atmosphere: XX century
- Espresso: the cafe was already closed when I got there
Satellite (2811 6th Ave)

- Roaster: Stumptown
- Atmosphere: dungeon
- Espresso: I didn’t go in, I know Stumptown already
Metronome (3518 6th Ave)

- Roaster: Dillanos
- Atmosphere: yuppie
- Espresso: second favorite
Valhalla (3918 6th Ave)

- Roaster: on site
- Atmosphere: viking
- Espresso: third favorite
Non-coffee sightseeing in Tacoma (by car)
- Point Defiance Park
- North End Neighborhood / Ruston Way waterfront drive
- Old Tacoma
- The Dock / Museum of Glass

Are you going to give me some coffee or what?
