Zoka Kirkland
My mid-year resolution of having one espresso per week broke already on the second day, but I had to visit Zoka during the Kirkland Art Walk on the way back home from work.
“Just hand around and dance and the ladies will come.”
Unfortunately they did get rid of the Slayer that was still there in June. According to the barista, it had a part that needed to be replaced but it won’t come back, it will go to another Zoka location. As a consequence they are not offering single origin espressos anymore, only single origin pour over and Chemex (which I don’t drink). But the Paladino blend is still excellent. The cappuccino was delicious!
Not long ago one would get 200 applications for one barista job opening.
Who cares if the coffee shops are shutting down the internet access when the whole city is a Wi-Fi zone?
